Introduction to Company Law
Introduction to Company Law

This course is aimed at anyone needing a solid foundation in all aspects of Company Law. It is currently part of the course material for Commerce and Law students completing their 1st year Company Law module at the University of Stellenbosch. The course creates a scenario that helps learners relate the theory to practical situations by using everyday examples that enable learners to form analogies of events that happen in their lives.

The idea of creating a practical example to which to relate the theory of a Company Law course was advanced by Andrew Hicks in the Modern Law Teacher in the article "Getting started in Company Law: The role of post-examination lectures".
